Art Walk- May '13

On Saturday, May 11th, Miami celebrated it's monthly Art Walk. Art Walk is an event where people gather up in the streets of Wynwood and embrace everything that is art. From paintings, to street dancing, and even live music, this event is one that helps us keep the beauty of all that is art alive and appreciated.

Now let me give you some advice when it comes to dressing up for Art Walk, comfortable clothing will always be your best friend. Remember, Art Walk consist of being outdoors and, like the name says, walking, a lot of walking. Don't get me wrong, you can be dressed very comfortable, yet look good. Picking my outfit was not that hard, once again, I used the beauty of layering. When it came to shoes, I must admit, ASOS has a very nice selection of shoes at a very affordable price that are super good if you plan on walking a lot.

Welcome to the newest addition to Pour-Les-Mecs, OTG!!! OTG (On The Go) is a section where I will share with you styles from people on the streets of Miami. Like I've mention before, style isn't defined by a single person's desire to wear a certain outfit, it comes from the contribution of many different people throughout the years. These personal styles can even turn into a local trend. Now, in my opinion, trends come from individuals who move away from what the vast mayority follows and slowly beggings to build their own audience, capturing the attention of many and causing a reactin in them that makes them want to use you as a guide to what they should wear.
